Dennis STACYAlien Abortion, Avenging Angels
The basic structure of the typical abduction scenario has been well-known, ever since the publication of folklorist Eddie Bullard’s massive two volume study of the phenomenon in 1987. Drawing on almost 300 cases then extant in the world UFO literature, Bullard isolated and identified eight discrete, sequential stages as follows: capture, examination, conference, tour, otherworldly journey, theophany, return, and aftermath.

Kevin McCLUREBogeymen
This article is a pretty angry assessment of the potential damage arising from what I regard as the myth of alien abduction. In it I quote substantially from the published works of four named researchers, including interviews with two of them. These four are David Jacobs, Budd Hopkins, John Mack and Jenny Randles, probably the most influential writers and researchers in the field at present. It is because of their importance that I have chosen to quote from their work, but there are plenty of others to whom my comments could be addressed

Phyllis A. BUDINGERNew Analysts of Sail Samples from the Delphos UFO Case 1-25
Abstract: Many analyses have been performed on soil exposed to a purported UFO release in Delphos, Kansas, which occurred in fate 1971 Beginning in 1999, a new sect of data from numerous analytical tests was generated using state-of-the-art equipment The goal of this analysis was to determine the molecular composition of the material released by the UFO Solid and conclusive data presented in this paper accomplished this identfication to the extent that the chemical composition of the release is at minimum 94% chatacterized The issue of release degradation over the years is certainly debatable and probably not resolvable. However this analyst believes that it did not suffer major degradation because past analytical data from the ring soils compare favorably to those tests that were repeated in the current analysis

Keith BASTERFIELDThe Implant Motif in UFO Abduction Literature 49-83
Abstract: The recurring theme of implants in UFO abduction lore is examined. A comprehensive survey of English-language UFO literature uncovered 84 such accounts. This article reviews the views and comments on this topic by UFO researchers, and undertakes an analysis of the limited data available. Suggestions for future research are provided
